Pastors
Rick Prettyman – Senior Pastor
Rick and Julie came to Christ Community Church in 2008. They have been married since 1993 and have 6 children (4 girls and 2 boys) and 5 grandchildren. “Next to the Gospel, family is the most important thing to us whether it is our children, grandchildren, or church family. We are blessed to serve CCC and participate in what God is doing in our community.”
Nathan Ables – Discipleship Pastor
Nathan is originally from Dallas, Texas and joined the Christ Community team in December, 2012. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Nathan ministered in Lubbock, Texas in the areas of youth, university, and small group ministries. Nathan and his wife, Joyce, have been happily married since 2008 and have one son, Owen. He finished his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary just prior to moving to Greenville. He is excited to see God change lives through the power of the Gospel.
Benjamin Moore – Youth & Worship Pastor
Ben and his wife, Georgetta have been attending Christ Community Church since 2016. Since then, they have added their firstborn son, Asa, to the Moore family. Ben is a military veteran who served one tour in Afghanistan. After being discharged, he earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently working on a master’s degree in biblical studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. Ben leads our worship team as well as organizes Sunday morning discipleship classes. He and his family are excited to fulfill the great commission alongside Christ Community Church and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ permeate every area of life.
