Our Team

Rick Prettyman (Senior Pastor)

Rick and Julie came to Christ Community Church in the fall of 2008, after serving in Nebraska and Indiana for 15 years. They met and married at Calvary Bible College where Rick graduated in 1994. When they moved to Christ Community they had 3 children; Lauren (currently attending The Master’s College), Morgan, and Logan. Since then God has graciously caused their family to grow by adding Svetlana, Dasha, and Landon through the gift of adoption. “It is an incredible story of God’s grace and provision, we would love to share with you. It is our deepest desire that our family at Christ Community Church would be overwhelmed by the reality of God daily.”
Rick comes from a pastor’s home and has 3 brothers (all in ministry) and three sisters. Julie grew up in Kansas City, Mo and has 2 sisters (an identical twin – which creates a lot of fun when she visits) and one brother.

Nathan Ables (Discipleship Pastor)

Nathan is originally from Dallas, Texas and joined the Christ Community team in December, 2012. After graduating from Texas Tech University, Nathan ministered in Lubbock, Texas in the areas of youth, university, and small group ministries. Nathan and his wife, Joyce, have been happily married since 2008. He finished his Masters of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary just prior to moving to Greenville. He is excited to see God change lives through the power of the Gospel.

Benjamin Moore (Interim Worship Pastor)

Benjamin and his lovely wife, Georgetta, began attending Christ Community Church 2016. In June of 2018, Benjamin came on staff as our Interim Worship Pastor.  Before joining the team, Benjamin learned music at Promethean studios in Dallas and has performed music for a variety of occasions and in many capacities. He later served five years as music minister in Blue Ridge, Texas during which he opened his own private lessons studio in Greenville. Benjamin has also serve in the United States Military where he deployed to Afghanistan. He is now seeking to fulfill the great commission and see the Gospel of Jesus Christ permeate throughout every area of life.
